Toronto Moves on to GLBL Championship
By a score of 6-2, the Toronto Maples have sealed a victory in the League Championship over the Thunder Bay Caribou.

"We knew we would be in for a tough series and that's what we got," said reliever Robin Bates of the Maples, who was named the series MVP. "The Caribou knew how to battle and gave us a good test."

The next test for Toronto will come in the GLBL Championship, after winning this series 4-1.

The Toronto Maples don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Detroit Thunderbirds - Chicago Architects series. Detroit leads the series 3 games to 2. The GLBL Championship schedule will be announced after the League Championship finishes.
