Caribou Best Mounties in Pitching Duel

Ricardo Márquez pitched a gem to lead Thunder Bay to victory over the Hamilton Mounties, 2-1. Gah-fat Liang was called on to finish, recording his 8th save. The win puts Thunder Bay at 18-8.
Thunder Bay took a 2-0 lead on Brett Collins's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Hamilton pitcher Anthony Irish in the bottom of the seventh.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Márquez told the Thunder Bay Chronicle.
