Henderson Fires 4-0 Shutout for Hamilton
|
Ernie Henderson shut out the Windsor Vigilantes 4-0 on a 3-hit masterpiece for the Hamilton Mounties at Harbour Field today.
"He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Hamilton skipper Al Borie said afterward.
Henderson registered 5 strikeouts and issued 2 walks in pitching a gem.
"We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Windsor manager Greg Erbisch after the defeat.
