Ontario Ballpark was the site for Canadian action featuring the Hamilton Mounties and Toronto Maples.

Toronto Maples starter Júlio Castro hurled his team past the Hamilton Mounties, 8-0. The Maples, now 4-2, have been playing some good baseball.

Castro, who was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, threw 93 pitches over 6.2 innings, while allowing no runs.

"Júlio just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Toronto manager Linus Riverboat.
