Caribou Get One-Run Win at Owen Sound
Marc Rowsell pitched well, but the Owen Sound Waveriders still lost the game, falling 4-3 to the Thunder Bay Caribou at Waveriders Ballpark. Brian Walsh, credited with the win, is now 2-1. He allowed no runs on 2 hits. With the victory, the Caribou upped their record to 41-35.

Thunder Bay took a 4-1 lead on Marcos González's 6th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Owen Sound pitcher Gary Long in the top of the ninth.

González said his team "played with focus."
