Thunderbirds Roll to 8-1 Win Over Bears
The Detroit Thunderbirds bested the Traverse City Bears, 8-1, at Thunderbirds Ballpark. Rafael Morales was one of the standouts. He went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Andrew Martínez, the winning pitcher, is now 4-3. He went 7 innings, allowing 1 run on 4 hits, while fanning 1 and walking 2. The last-place Thunderbirds raised their record to 33-45.
