Vigilantes Need Extra Innings to Top Comets, 5-4
The Windsor Vigilantes had to overcome a fine effort from Kingston pitcher Greg Patterson to win, 5-4, at Justice Field. Patterson went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. The winner was Ken Shannon in relief. His record improves to 2-1. António Valle took the loss. The Vigilantes, at 53-42, have now won 6 straight.

The Vigilantes got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Neil Buisson. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Vigilantes.

In postgame remarks, Buisson said: "I'm proud of our guys, of their fight."
