Eagles Earn 2-1 Win Versus Bears
|
Milwaukee Eagles starter Billy Hill turned in a sterling performance against the Traverse City Bears, leading his team to a slim 2-1 win. The loss drops the Bears to 7-5.
Dave Jones was the walk-off hero for Milwaukee. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Eagles first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Hill.
