Comets Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Wednesday, September 2nd , 2048 The Kingston Comets were stuck in the middle this season -- not competitive enough in the playoff chase to be considered relevant, but not far enough behind to be completely written off. Until now, that is -- today, the Comets were mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. The Comets have made the playoffs 11 times in their 34 years as a Great Lakes Baseball League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2046. In the last 10 seasons, the Comets have made the playoffs 3 times. Kingston has won the GLBL Championship 2 times in their history. |
