SL2 Star of the Week Honored Monday, August 21st , 2051 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that Pointe Pelee's Bill Legrand put up last week were the envy of the league, as Legrand came away with Sub League 2 Player of the Week honors. He belted out 12 hits in 22 at-bats, 2 home runs and 10 RBIs last week as he posted his .545 batting average. Thus far in 2051, Legrand is hitting .288 with 9 home runs, 33 RBIs, 28 runs scored and has compiled a .340 OBP. |
