Star of the Week Named in SL1 Monday, April 26th , 2049 Burlington Jack Rabbits right fielder Mike Webster walked away with the Sub League 1 Player of the Week Award today after putting up some impressive numbers over the past seven days. "The Jack Rabbits fans are really behind me right now," said the 20-year-old. "That helps. They give you the confidence to go out there and do better." Webster batted .500 (8-for-16) with 2 home runs and 6 RBIs this week on his way to the award. So far this season Webster has 8 home runs and a .425 batting average. |
