Whitby's Bourgeois SL2 Top Pitcher Tuesday, August 1st , 2051 A 3-0 record with a 1.01 ERA is a good month for most any pitcher. The Sub League 2 thought it was worthy of an award and named Jonathan Bourgeois, starter for the Whitby Kingfishers, July's Pitcher of the Month. He also held the opposition to a .217 average while posting 26 strikeouts in 44.2 innings. To date this year, Bourgeois shows a 9-4 record, 21 starts, 140.2 innings, 113 strikeouts and a 2.18 ERA. |
