Nasir, Destroyers Sink Devils Again in Game 2
Riding the 3-hit performance of right fielder Aswad Nasir, the Delaware Destroyers got a road win against the Detroit Devils, 8-4, in Game 2 of the Wild Card Series today. Nasir slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Destroyers, who now lead the best-of-5 series, 2 games to 0.

Delaware relied on the bat of Lorenzo Magana to get the win. The second baseman ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Destroyers ahead, 4-3. For the game, Magana had 1 double and 1 home run in 3 at-bats.

"We haven't stopped playing," Detroit manager JT Bruett said. "We didn't get this far to give up."

The next game is set to be played for Friday, October 7th , 2078 at Delaware Field in Delaware.
