Toronto Trades Miller for Houston's Doby Sunday, January 16th , 2078 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Toronto Stags and the Houston Armadillos have agreed to a deal that will have 29-year old RHP Jason Miller heading to Houston in exchange for 21-year old minor league CF Larry Doby and 19-year old minor league RF Richard MacKnight. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. A check of his career stats reveals Miller has chalked up 61 wins and 49 losses with 752 strikeouts and a 3.77 ERA. Opposing teams have put up a .258 batting average against him. |
