The Toronto Stags officially laid claim to the Connie Mack League Western Division crown today and will now turn attention to preparing for a run at the franchise's 10th HRBL Classic. "We may have been far ahead in the standings, but you never take anything for granted until it's official," said starting pitcher Manabu Matsumura. "I've seen too many strange things happen in baseball to ever assume the playoffs is a guarantee."
