Ning Wins HR Challenge Monday, July 14th , 2070 With his father on the mound pitching, Lien-ying Ning put on a show at the plate to capture the 2070 Home Run Challenge trophy at Skywind Park. Ning gave Toronto Stags fans something to cheer about with a 8-7 victory over Chris Russell. "I came in tonight just not wanting to embarrass myself. My teammates would have never let me live it down," said Ning. Ning is batting .280 with 1874 career base hits, including 310 doubles, 7 triples and 450 home runs with 1237 RBIs and 1160 runs scored. He has played in 1830 games, stolen 2 bases and compiled a .381 OBP. |
