Hernández Wins JML Player of the Week Trophy Monday, July 4th , 2078 Gustavo Hernández did nothing to hurt his value as an upcoming free agent last week, making contact with the ball at every opportunity and reeling in the John McGraw League Player of the Week Award. The center fielder hit .545 for the Scorpions, recording 12 hits in 22 at-bats, no home runs, 3 RBIs and 4 runs scored. So far this season, Hernández has recorded a .333 batting average with 83 hits, 9 home runs, 42 RBIs, 39 runs scored and a .387 OBP. |
