San Antonio Shuts Out Armadillos, Tamayo Winner Thursday, July 7th , 2078 San Antonio Vaqueros hurler Miguel Tamayo logged a 3-hit, complete game shutout over the Armadillos, stopping them 8-0 at Bluejackets Ballpark today. "I felt great out there," Tamayo said in his postgame interview. "After the second or third inning, I got real comfortable. Hopefully this is a building block for me. I'd love a few more starts like this." He rung up 6 strikeouts and gave up 1 walk in the performance. Tamayo has made 19 starts so far this year and put up a 13-3 won-lost record with a 1.90 ERA.
