The Houston center fielder was 1-for-5 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 20 games. The Armadillos were not as fortunate, losing 3-1 to the San Francisco Seals. "Ito was hitting everything we threw at him," said San Francisco manager Jeff Brain. "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame today and we came away with a win." Masahiko Ito struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. Ito is hitting .306 this year with 10 home runs and 50 RBIs.
