Dreadful Season Sees Playoff Hopes Dashed for Hartford Tuesday, September 6th , 2078 Not even the most diehard Hartford Hawks fan thought the team had much chance at the playoffs this year. But now even the faintest hopes have been put to rest, as the Hawks were mathematically eliminated from the postseason hunt today. This is the club's 5th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2073. In total, the Hawks have missed the playoffs 96 times in their 166-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Hawks have made the playoffs 4 times. Hartford last won the HRBL Classic in 2033. |
