Wild Card Clinched by Scorpions Monday, October 3rd , 2078 The Phoenix Scorpions could very well have acquired some new fans late this season, as the team's 2078 playoff chase saw them win the wild card as the season wound to a close. "It's an exciting time to be a fan of the Scorpions. I think we had people on the edge of their seats wondering what would happen," said starting pitcher Bob Klein. What ended up happening is that the team's 91-71 record has allowed it to move on to the postseason, with a chance to win the 10th HRBL Classic in franchise history. "It's only going to get more exciting from here on in," Klein said. |
