Yeti Move on to Round 2 Tuesday, September 20th , 2078 Raúl Gutiérrez sparked his St. Petersburg Yeti past the pesky Crane Dragons in a closely-contested Round 1. St. Petersburg topped Crane 13-9 at Crane Grounds to decide the series, 3-1 For his efforts, Gutiérrez was rewarded with the series MVP trophy for his .500 batting average, 5 RBIs and 7 runs scored. "You never want to leave anything on the field," Gutiérrez said. "You never want to miss a play of defense you could have made, or give up an extra base you could have gotten, because in a series this tight you never know what you'll need to win." The St. Petersburg Yeti don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the New Orleans Crawdads - Fremont Quicksteps series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece.
