In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
Hagerstown beat Hickory on the strength of starter Joe Price's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-2. Price went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 9. His record improves to 1-0. Picking up the save was Tim Rohner, his 2nd.
Hagerstown grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, Luis Ramirez delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 3-2 in favor of the Suns.
"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Hagerstown manager Ed Smith.
Hagerstown has now won 4 games in a row.
