Altoona wasted a solid 8.2-inning effort from starting pitcher Jim Bibbey, losing to Trenton, 2-1, at People's Natural Gas Field. Trenton reliever Jonathan Knadler picked up the win to move to 1-4. Chris Wright suffered the loss. Greg Rousseau earned the save for Trenton, his 1st of the year.

Trenton used a timely hit from Dave Bevilacqua to get the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 14th inning to put the Thunder ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"We battled our tails off to get this win," said Trenton manager Justin Toole.

With the win, Trenton boosts its record to 5-14.
