Browns Sting Ironbirds, 8-3
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Aberdeen Ironbirds and New Orleans Browns get after it.
New Orleans first baseman Ernesto Sisneros had a 3-RBI game, which proved instrumental in his team beating the Aberdeen Ironbirds, 8-3. Sisneros picked up 1 single and 3 doubles in the ballgame. At 11-8, the Browns claim 4th place in the Pinckney Division.
Mitch Coleman's at-bat in the bottom of the fourth inning was a big one for New Orleans. Coming to bat with no one out, runners on 1st and 2nd and New Orleans trailing 2-1, the left fielder reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Sisneros told the New Orleans Daily News.
