Ironbirds Rally For 5-4 Win
The Aberdeen Ironbirds beat the State College Spikes, 5-4, at Ripken Stadium. Yoshiyuki Murata, in particular, was impressive. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Aberdeen reliever Chris Schenck picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Danny Milazzo absorbed the loss. With the win, the Ironbirds improved to 14-18.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With no one out, Murata hit a fastball from Danny Milazzo for a solo home run. The Ironbirds, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"I like our resilience," said Murata.
