Travelers Lose to RoughRiders in Walk Off
|
The Arkansas Travelers got a sterling performance from pitcher Arturo Justiniano, but the Frisco RoughRiders still prevailed, 4-3. Justiniano threw 6.1 innings of 1-hit ball. Frisco reliever Ben Gaines got the win, raising his record to 4-9. Josh Beard was tagged with the loss. Frisco is last in the South Division with a record of 35-77.
The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Frisco trailing 3-2, Zach Palzer jumped on a 0-1 fastball from Josh Beard for a 2-run home run, sending the RoughRiders to a walk-off win.
"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Palzer said.
