BlueClaws Knock Off Drillers at First Energy Park
In a tight game between the Lakewood BlueClaws and the Indianapolis Drillers, pitcher Erasmus Steinbauer was terrific on the mound. The Lakewood right-hander helped his team to the 3-1 win. The winning pitcher was Steinbauer, now 2-7. He tossed 5.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 5. With the win, the Lakewood record is 24-97.

Cy Loewen dealt the Drillers a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with the bases loaded and Lakewood leading 1-0, Loewen hit a 2-2 sinker for a run-scoring single.

"This was a tough loss," said Indianapolis manager Francisco Leandro. "It'll stick in my craw for a while."
