Rangers Come Back Late to Clip Angels
The Texas (AZL) Rangers overcame a fine performance by Los Angeles A (AZL) center fielder Nate Skaggs to defeat the Angels, 5-4, at Tempe Diablo Stadium. Skaggs went 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 walks. The winner in relief was Sergio Caraballo. He is now 1-0. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 2.2 innings. Billy Pearce earned save number 6 this season.
