The home crowd had a good time watching the Burlington Royals and Danville Braves get after it.

The Danville Braves topped the Burlington Royals, 3-0, in Northwest League action at American Legion Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Danville pitcher Mike Rheaume. Luis Riojas, credited with the save, is now 3 for 3 in save opportunities.

The game was on the line with two out in the top of the eighth inning, but Luis Riojas didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Burlington trailing 2-0, Riojas retired Luis Mena to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Riojas, with a wink.

With the win, the Braves hiked their record to 36-25.
