Raptors Zap AquaSox, 8-5
|
Everett got a terrific game from first baseman Sergio Burrola. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Ogden, 8-5. Burrola went 3 for 4 with 3 singles. He scored 3 runs. Picking up the win was Arturo Isais. He went 5 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits. The right--hander struck out 2 and walked 2. The save was credited to Danny George, his 10th.
Nate Duquette, the 21-year old second baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Duquette contributed a 2-run triple in the top of the first inning to put Ogden up, 4-0.
"Glad to get this win," said Duquette. "But we need to keep playing at a high level."
Ogden is now 32-30.
