Frisco center fielder Dave McCourry helped his team beat the Springfield Cardinals, 8-3. McCourry went 4 for 5 for the RoughRiders. At 39-82, the RoughRiders are currently last in the South Division.

McCourry had a game-changing double in the bottom of the sixth. On a 2-1 curveball from Bob Beninati, he banged a 2-run double to center, giving the RoughRiders a 5-3 lead. It was the 15th double of the year for McCourry.

"Good win for us," said McCourry. "Now we'll focus on the next one."
