Tulsa beat Frisco on the strength of starter Mike Ketchem's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-1. Tulsa reliever Kevin Unruh picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Ken Franzen took the loss. Eric Yacobellis finished the game for Tulsa and earned his 29th save.

In the bottom of the sixth, Steve Currier delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and a runner on 3rd, the Tulsa right fielder hit a run-scoring single, putting the Drillers in front, 4-1.

"Mike just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Tulsa manager Howie Kendrick.

The Drillers now own a record of 76-46.
