In a high-scoring contest between Toledo and Rochester, shortstop Charlie Spencer was a difference-maker. Spencer distinguished himself in the 11-8 Toledo win. He went 4 for 5 with a triple and 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Toledo pitcher Jai Anglesey got the win. He's now 2-0. Jerry Fellman was tagged with the loss. Earning his 4th save of the year was Jorge Edgrien.

Greg Burch's at-bat in the bottom of the third inning was a big one for Toledo. Coming to bat with two out, runners on 1st and 3rd and Toledo leading 4-3, the center fielder hit a 3-run home run.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Burch said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
