The Fresno Patriots did just enough to sneak past the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, 3-2, at Patriots Ballpark. Fresno pitcher Maddox Farnell, in particular, had a standout performance. Fresno has now won 3 straight, while the IronPigs have lost 4 in a row.

The Patriots were down to their final out when catcher Zach Weidlein turned a first pitch fastball from Eric Bold into a 2-run single. The walk-off single made the Patriots Ballpark crowd go wild.

"Our guys just had that look of determination," said winning manager Ryan Garton.
