The Toronto Blue Jays had to overcome a fine effort from Minnesota pitcher Joalbert Angulo to win, 7-6, at Rogers Centre. Angulo went 6.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. The victory puts Toronto at 19-33.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Toronto. That's when Sam Will, who leads the AL in triples with 5, hit a 3-run home run off Erik Schlabach to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Will.
