Raucous Kauffman Stadium Crowd Propels Royals to 6-4 Victory; Series Tied at 1
The Kansas City Royals and the Houston Astros will take the Wild Card Series to a decisive final game. Facing a must-win situation at Kauffman Stadium today, the Royals went into extra innings to beat the visiting Astros 6-4 and knot the series at 1-1. Kansas City center fielder Amari Quarless was 5-5 with 2 triples, 3 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

Kansas City won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With two outs and Juan Robles on the mound for Houston, designated hitter Zion Bogans hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Royals fans to their feet.

"This place was rockin'," said Quarless.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City.
