Rangers Pull No Punches, Down Yankees, 15-2
The Texas Rangers buried the New York Yankees, 15-2, under a barrage of hits. Rocky Parker led the onslaught, going 4-for-5 for Texas. Josh Stall was the winner. He's now 12-4. The loser was 32-year old right-handed pitcher Zach Fergerson. The Rangers move to 61-50 with the win, while the Yankees drop to 58-52.

Texas used a clutch at-bat from Jimmy Rojas to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the first inning to put the Rangers ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"They steamrolled us," said losing manager Angel Santos.
