Tampa Bay left fielder Zach Giunta played a vital role in his team's 4-2 conquest of Houston. He went 3-3 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay reliever Eric O'Connell was the winner. His record is now 5-1. Johnny Miller took the loss. Ben Valone was credited with the save for Tampa Bay, his 22nd of the season.
