Late Magic Gets Gwinnett 7-5 Win
For the home crowd, it was a thrilling walk-off win.

Gwinnett starter Caio Ficquelmont pitched well against the Buffalo Bisons at Coolray Field. The right-hander led his team to a win, 7-5. Gwinnett reliever Demonde Kollie picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Dan Lewis absorbed the loss.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Gwinnett trailing 5-4, Chad Walker jumped on a 2-2 fastball from Dan Lewis for a 3-run home run, sending the Stripers to a walk-off win.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Ficquelmont told the Gwinnett Chronicle.

Gwinnett, at 35-18, is 2 games up in the South Division.
