El Paso and Fresno left the crowd in suspense until the last at-bat.

The Fresno Grizzlies went down to defeat to Eric Carter and his El Paso teammates. The final score was 3-2 in favor of the Chihuahuas. El Paso reliever Jimmy Sellner picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Juan Blanco absorbed the loss.

Jorge Hurtado won the game for El Paso when homered off Juan Blanco in the bottom of the tenth.

After the game, El Paso manager Eduardo Lopez applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.

El Paso, now 46-52, holds down third place in the Pacific Conference South Division.
