Grizzlies Raise Rally Flag, Beat Omaha, 8-5
Fresno designated hitter Gabe Farrell made his presence felt in the 8-5 Grizzlies triumph over the Omaha Storm Chasers. Farrell was 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. Giandonato Pessotto picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 5-2. Vince Gantz was tagged with the loss. The win for the Grizzlies raised their record to 77-44.

Fresno used a timely hit from Shamar Tabron to get the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Grizzlies ahead, 7-5. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"We came out aggressive," said Grizzlies manager R.J. Rodriguez. "We came out swinging the bats."
