Chihuahuas Walk It Off for 66th Win of Season
Good production from shortstop Simeão Alarco helped the El Paso Chihuahuas topple the Las Vegas Aviators, 8-7. Alarco was 5-6 with a double, 4 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Chihuahuas. Juan Ramirez earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 4 innings. He upped his record to 10-10. The first-place Aviators have dropped 4 straight games.

Sam Spindler clinched the win with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the 13th. In the game, the El Paso left fielder was 2-6 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI.
