Ramirez Excels, But Flying Squirrels Win
Bowie right fielder Luis Ramirez pounded Richmond Flying Squirrels pitchers at Prince George's Stadium, but it was not enough to keep the Baysox from falling, 8-6. Ramirez hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Jake Agin earned the save for Richmond, his 2nd of the year. Richmond now sits in third place in the Western Division at 54-62.

Richmond used the bat of Georgio Serrano to get the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Flying Squirrels ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Serrano.
