Savage Pops Two Homers in 7-3 Win for Chattanooga
Good production from catcher Bobby Savage helped the Chattanooga Lookouts topple the Mobile BayBears, 7-3. Savage hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for the Lookouts. Mike Evans, the winning pitcher, improved to 9-12. He pitched 6.2 innings, giving up 8 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 3. Savion McLoyd got credit for the save for Chattanooga. It was his 1st of the year.

Ernesto de Anda, the 23-year old right fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. de Anda contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put Chattanooga up, 3-0.

Savage told a Chattanooga Daily reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.

The third-place Lookouts have a record of 61-68.
