Flying Tigers Snag 6-5 Win
Northwest Arkansas wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Joe Hughes, falling to the San Antonio Flying Tigers, 6-5. Hughes threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball for the losing team. San Antonio is now 14-19, while Northwest Arkansas is 19-14.

San Antonio used the clutch hitting of Jon Brewer to capture the win. The second baseman drilled a bases-clearing double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Flying Tigers the lead, 5-4. For the game, Brewer had 2 singles and 1 double in 6 at-bats.
