Wheeler Spectacular in 4-0 Win
The Frisco RoughRiders struggled at the plate today against Sod Poodles hurler Rodolfo Wheeler, who shackled them on 2 hits while hurling a complete game 4-0 shutout.

"What can you say? We didn't hit well," said RoughRiders skipper Terrance Gore in postgame comments. "Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow."

Wheeler finished the game with 8 strikeouts and 1 walk in an excellent mound performance.

"He pitched real well," Amarillo manager Adam Ottavino said. "Rodolfo made pitches when he had to. He hit his spots and did a great job of mixing in his changeup and using his fastball effectively."

Wheeler has made 7 starts so far this year and put up a 1-5 won-lost record with a 6.02 ERA. In 46.1 innings he has allowed 53 hits, walked 23 and struck out 35.
