The San Antonio Flying Tigers defeated the Amarillo Sod Poodles, 4-2, at Flying Tigers Ballpark today. Leading the charge for San Antonio was second baseman Kevin Waller. He was 4 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. San Antonio, at 22-24, holds down third place in the South Division.

San Antonio took a 2-1 lead on Waller's 15th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which he hit off Josh Mullinix in the bottom of the sixth, propelled San Antonio to the win.

"When I'm in the lineup, I always feel like we're going to win the game," said Waller.
