The Midland RockHounds did just enough to secure a victory over the San Antonio Flying Tigers, 5-4, at Security Bank Ballpark. Nobody did more than center fielder Steve Lee. Midland has an impressive 36-12 record.

Midland took a 5-4 lead on J.J. Denton's 9th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off San Antonio pitcher Ken Cox in the bottom of the eighth.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said San Antonio manager Prince Fielder.
