Midland starter Rogelio Pineda had a strong outing against the Amarillo Sod Poodles at Security Bank Ballpark. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 6-3 win. Midland is second in the South Division with a record of 41-26.

Mike Flynn had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the fourth for Midland. With the bases loaded and the RockHounds leading 2-1, he hit a sacrifice fly.
